Dissolving Sugar.

 
WALT: conduct a fair test to find out what is the best way to dissolve sugar by using water.
In Room 5 we are learning a new experiment. I know I can do this because we already did the experiment a couple of days ago. 

The Cool Story About A Band That Uses Pumpkin Stalks For A Musical Instrument.

The way of the world

There were some kid’s sitting on a bench. Biddy cut a pumpkin stalk and she blew on the pumpkin stalk and the pumpkin stalk made a sound. Biddy’s band marched all around town but no one liked their music. The grown ups pinched the idea and the name of Biddy’s band. The grown ups have costumes. Biddy’s band went in front of the grown ups. And then the grown ups were angry. The county council liked the music of Biddy’s band than the grown ups. Then Biddy said we will show them the way of the world.

We are learning to put the important parts to a sentence. I know I can do this because I already done this with my group which is Kit-Kats.

My Maths

In Room 5 we are leaning to do a new strategy to make to make mathematics fun and easy to solve bigger numbers.

I am learning a little bit less. I know I can do this when I can multiply the tens then the ones then add them together.

We will not have a Facebook account. No, no, no

I agree that children under 13 years old are not allowed to have a Facebook account because it is against the law. Facebook is bad, Facebook is awful, Facebook is terrible.

If we have a Facebook account people will block our Facebook account. Which means you will never open our Facebook account forever.

If we have a Facebook account people will look our private information. And share it to his or her friends in Facebook.

If we have a Facebook account people will hack into your account and change your password. And if you try to open it you can’t open it because he or she already change your  password. if  you see him you will have a fight with him and maybe the police will see you fighting you will go to prison for 3 years.

If we use the g mail we can still chat with each other, no one can hack in our account in g mail, no one can block you. You can use g mail more than Facebook we can learn new stuff in g mail. Its much more better in g mail than Facebook.

Great friends

We are learning to have a relationships with our community.

I know i learnt this because I have done a presentation. The first slide is about what kinds of relationships do we have. The second slide is about why am I a good friend. 

Our Filters And How They Work.

WALT: Separate an insoluble mixture which is Glitter and water.
We are learning to separate insoluble materials using a Filter.

I know I learnt this because our group already did a filter. Our filter separated the glitter and water.  Every group in our class did a Filter and if 1 group wins they get a prize. Here is a picture about our Filters.

   

The factory Persuasive Text

I agree that we should let the Fletcher's Family build a factory.

 If we let the Fletcher's Family build a factory they will give CCTV cameras. CCTV cameras are good because if someone will go to our classroom he or she might get our Chromebooks, steal our things that we needed to use for school.

 If we let the Fletcher's Family build a factory they will let us enter a Competition. Competition's are good because we can learn new skills and we can use our skills in the past.

 If we let the Fletcher's Family build a factory they will give us a new playground. A new playground is good because the new playground has a wooden castle, wobbly bridges. Which can help us being fit and health by running inside the wooden castle going pass the wobbly bridge playing tag inside our new playground.

 If we let the Fletcher's Family build our factory on our school we could thank them for what they have done for us. helping kids being happy in our new playground.

My persuasive text that persuade somebody not to go school early

In Room 5 we are challenging the other group not to go school early because we will be drowsy, are sister and brothers will get bored. I know I've learnt because we used A FOREST.
Alliteration  Example: Peter Piper picked a pack of pickles.
Facts and figures  Example: Giant pandas live in a few mountain ranges in Central China.
Opinion Example:I think starting school early is the worst
Rhetorical question Example: are you listening to the Teacher?
Emotive language Example:Smoking will make you early to die
Superlative Example:having a PSP is the best that my Dad gave for my birthday
Three Example: don't see no evil, don't hear no evil, don't feel no evil.

My Food Pyramid That Makes Your Body Healthy

WALT:What are good food that we can eat everyday.

In room 5 we are learning about a food pyramid that help's people be healthy. I know I learned this because we already done our food pyramid's as a group and you can eat sweets once week only and you can only eat fruit & veges 3 + a day. You need
to exercise your self in the morning or when you have time to exercise. You have to eat healthy foods because God made us and we need to look after our body's because God made us in his own image. 

My hand lotion ad

WALT: discover why we have ads, how they attract attention and who they are targeting

We are learning what ads are for. I know I've learnt it because I have a picture that shows a hand lotion called Nivea. It is targeting people that have bad skin.

 

My Maths Activity-Week 2

WALT:create your own estimations, measure them, then compare them

We are learning how to estimate, measure, compare. I know I have done this because I have photos to show you what I have done in my math. I estimated or guess how many shoes can fit in the newspaper, measure or put your shoes in side the newspaper. My estimation was wrong because I thought that it was 4 shoes can fit in the newspaper but the correct answer is 1. 

My persuasion map

WALT:do a mind map or a structure about changing people's minds.

We are learning to do a persuasion text to change people's mind. I know I've learnt it because I have done a thesis, 3 main reasons, for each reason you put 3 facts or examples then a conclusion. This is called a structure.

What Does Respect Mean To Me?

WALT:   Discover the true meaning of respect. I know that i have learnt it because I obey my family, I care for them when they get sick, obey the ten commandments, I help in washing the dishes, forgive my friends and family when they done you wrong, kind to others. This is our group mindmap.

MRS.Richardson put us into groups and Mrs. Richardson gave us our duties to do in school. Others do a song and a pan flip and roll playing.   








The steps to make a tippy tap 

1. Get 2 y sticks
2. Get 1 long wood
3. Get 1 short wood
4. Get a string
5. Get a nail 
6. Get a water bottle to fill in with water
7. Get a rock or a hammer
8. Get soap
9. Make a hole in the soap and tie a string on the soap
10.Tie the string on the long wood 
11.Tie a string on the short wood
12.Make a hole on the water bottle 

The steps to use the tippy tap
1. Water and put the water in the water bottle
2. Step on the long wood and the water will come out and wash your hands and then put soap on your hands. Then wash of the soap on your hands

Healing Prayer

We are learning to write a healing prayer. This is my healing prayer.

Hi healing father there’s something i need to ask you  please heal my mother from her sickness which she wants to be healed about 1 week and a half she is my loving mother and then she wants that she would be better and please look after my mother and look after the children all around the world and the children who haven’t have food all their life and i want them to be healed because i want them too have a good life and thank you lord that you have the amazing people that knows how to care for the sick and the doctors and the nurses and the bad things that i did to my mom and i confess that i have sinned and forgive me that i haven’t go to mass and i promise to change my actions and thank you for giving this body and a good health.And thank you for my cousins and friends and i appreciate what you have done for me.

Hand Washing Hang Ups

WALT how to wash your hands properly

We room 5 students are showing other people how to wash their hands properly. We room 5 students use 10 liters of water to wash your hands properly. I know I have learned how to wash your hands properly so that I don't have germs spreading all over my body and so I don't get sick.

Special Graces

WALT special graces in the anointing of the sick.

We are learning the anointing of the sick and if your sick your about to call a priest and the priest will bless you and it means that its your last chance to forgive your sins. When its done the priest will bless you with holy oil and the priest will draw a cross maybe at your hand or your forehead. I know the special graces will help the sick feel better about dying. The special graces are in my letter.

My Cool Ambitious Vocabulary

We are learning to use ambitious vocabulary to change our writing.Mrs Richardson gave us our boring words we used the thesaurus to write exiting words instead of fast in my writing I will use ready, swift, or dashing.
